So here's a candy treat idea:

Glass-sugar (various colors, fruit flavors) tube full of sweet-rice, all on a stick.

I am thinking a green lime see-through tube just packed full of sweet rice. Man, it looks so good in the mind's eye.

The tube is more "shattery" than "crunchy". I do not think a chocolate or other, heavier-tasting tube would work. The overall flavor would be light and sweet, but not too-rich.
