My question tonight, for you: Why would a hotel bathroom have a bottle-opener in it?

And us, the only room with a no-smoking sign that doesn't match the rest. The only one, too, not colored nicotine yellow. The only one that explicitly spells it out for you that there is "No Smoking" instead of just the little crossed circle sign.

You must have the original non-smoking room, for non-smoking drinkers. Maybe they put the bottle opener in the bathroom in case the beer or soda foams and spills. Less likely to stain the carpet? Beer baths? It's supposed to be good for your hair as a rinse, I've heard, but who wants to smell yeasty?

The only place that's right to drink from a bottle is the bathroom. Common courtesy. Basic ethics.

Bread. Bread wants to smell yeasty. Mmmmh!
